MARRIOTT HOTEL MURAL

Design Objective: Design and paint a mural that features a forested environment of the Pacific Northwest, painted for the Marriott Hotel in downtown Portland, OR.

This design dives into the details of what makes up the forests of the Columbia River Gorge by showing native flora and fauna, and a shallow cutaway of the forest floor which reveals ground-dwelling animals and elements of the past — skeletons, shells, and artifacts.
